Crossghyll Farm is a working dairy and sheep farm, which is nestled in the beautiful valley of Littledale and surrounded by gentle rolling hills that extend to the fells above, with Mallowdale Pike, Wardstone and Clougha Pike on top.
The families at Crossghyll, brothers Paul and Mark, their wives Di and Sal and their children, run the family farm together.
On a clear day, from the hills just above the farm, the vista offers a spectacular 360 degree view stretching across three counties.
Lancashire (over down towards Blackpool and across Morecambe Bay), Cumbria (to the majestic mountains of the Lake District) and North Yorkshire (with Ingleborough, one of the Yorkshire ‘Three peaks’ in the distance).
GLAMPING IS THE NEW CAMPING!
The pods at Crossghyll Farm offer a slight alternative to traditional camping, as there’s no need to bring your tent! We provide you with a heated pod with electricity and USB charging points. You bring the rest of your camping equipment. This means that ‘glamping’ is available in all weathers! There is a separate utilities block offering underfloor heating, warm showers, washroom facilities and toilets for ladies and gentlemen. There is a separate, partly covered washing up area and a firepit and barbeque for your convenience. We offer gated, off road parking too.
WHERE WE ARE!
Situated just a 45 minute drive from both the heart of the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales; Crossghyll Farm is an idyllic getaway spot.
Being close to the historic town of Lancaster, the seaside town of Morecambe is also easily accessible and great for a day out.
